Runtastic Success Stories: How 5 Employees Changed Their Lives

We’re prepared to go the extra mile again next year, and I’m convinced that we’ll provide our users with the best products and experiences. Florian Gschwandtner, CEO. This year is going to be different. Every year we are disappointed to find that the year has not really been that different after all. Before starting to work with us, she decided that a crash diet might be the right way to reach her weight goal. When she joined Runtastic, Oksana finally learned how nutrition impacted her body, and. In order to stick to her rather strict training routine, she decided to not just add her workout sessions to her calendar but also train together with friends. In general, you don’t need to lead a healthy lifestyle to work at Runtastic, but we definitely make it easy if you choose to. Living in a healthy way is easier when you have colleagues who support you. This year has been different for so many more people. Start changing your own life with tiny steps and join the Runtastic community.

Wake Me Up When September Ends !!! – 2017 To Become An Outlaw

Since the last one I have scored two PB’s at sprint triathlon. That’s about the only good news in this entry. He almost drowned as a child and had developed a fear of swimming and he got over it and did his triathlon 1 year before me. So this is the reason I started triathlon and I owe it all to my little bro. I have met some wonderful people along the way, many of them I speak to weekly and also race with a few times of the year. Now with this news and the cloud hanging over us till we get good news I have decided that when I take part in The Immortal Full Triathlon In August, I shall raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I have backing from Huub Design, they sponsored the event this year. Anyway this Sunday is my last triathlon of the year. This is my 3rd time taking part in this race and my 10th triathlon in 2 years. I really hope to get a good time this year as my swimming has improved thanks to great coaching and I’m stronger on the bike now but I still have more work to do on that.

Our philosophy is to train to complete, not train to compete. Finish in under two hours Pretty good for my first tri, I think. In my defense, the Assateague Assault was the first time I swam in the ocean. Getting the hang of breath timing was crucial and something I seriously struggled with, hence the doggy paddle. We only have a short amount of time to train and I haven’t done squat since the 10K Turkey Trot in December we did with a friend. Which anyone who has done any sort of timed sport knows that goals in seconds are sometimes more realistic. I wish we would have spent some time training in the ocean for my first tri. I wasn’t afraid of drowning or anything, but I will have to admit that it was the first time I have ever been uncomfortable with my watery surroundings and not completely confident in my swimming abilities. Second, we are training four days a week with some flexibility on what EXACT days those are. Lemme know what you think! And tell me about your first race experience!

The Figurehead

I realized on Monday morning what a great father’s day weekend I had. I spent Friday night at Daniel Tardy’s house, because we had to get up at 5:00am on Sat. Saturday when I got home Karen gave me my Father’s Day present; an old fashioned wooden homemade ice cream maker. I’ve been wanting one for years, but have always been too cheap to buy it. The first batch of homemade ice cream turned out great! Afterwards we enjoyed watching Izzy, Max, Kate, Thomas, and Alan all splash in the little pool in the backyard. Sunday after church we went up to Hendersonville to have Father’s Day with my parents. As some of you know, that’s my top priority race of every season. It’s normally early in September, but this year they moved up to late June. Last year, I finally won my age group out of 40 something guys despite a challenging year. The crowd is fast this year, so I’m hoping for a top 3 finish this go around. She found some of my old race medals last night and asked if she could wear them.
