Jessica and Jenson

Jenson Button plans to take part in this year’s London Triathlon on the 1st of August. The Briton took up triathlon as a part of his training routine a couple years ago and since then he has taken part in several events. This year he is a serious contender for the Formula One title, so he will neglect triathlon events a bit, but he decided to take part in the above mentioned event to help the Make a Wish Foundation of which he is a patron. I’m a Patron of the Make A Wish Foundation and have had the pleasure of meeting lots of kids who are supported by the charity at our tests and races. Make A Wish grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses and it is a real privilege to be involved with them. The kids are so inspirational and hopefully we can raise enough money to fulfil as many of their dreams as possible. The London Triathlon takes place on Saturday 1 August with almost 11,000 competitors! The race covers a 1500m swim, 40km bike ride and a 10km run. Somehow I have even persuaded my two race engineers Shov and Bono to take part! They will be competing in the half distance event. Your money will be going to a very worthy cause and helping to make dreams come true for some very poorly children.

You’ve got goals to achieve and dreams to fulfil.

It’s all about YOU The secret to my approach is that rather then starting with a program and then trying to squeeze your life to fit the program, my difference starts with you. By starting there, I’m able to develop your program – your unique, customised program – that fits your life. No more guilt because you’ve had to miss sessions. No more excessive tiredness because you’ve trained too much or didn’t get enough sleep. Whether it’s a customised triathlon training program or trail running program, we join forces for 6 weeks to develop your 5km run speed or you join in the fun over at Sparta Chicks, we’ll work together to make your dreams a reality. I don’t stand there like a dictator and tell you what your training should look like. So we’ll work together to develop your program; one that fits into your busy life so you can achieve the goals you dream of. You will feel confident knowing that your program is practical and doable. Plus it allows us to make sure you can train consistently, keep your energy levels high while developing the speed, strength and fitness you need to achieve your dreams. If this sounds like the type of training you’ve been looking for, have a look at how we can work together or get in contact me with today.

Words of Encouragement to Help Lift You Up

Challenges and difficulties are a part of life and words of encouragement can often help you get out of your rut. You’re more than what you’ve been demonstrating up to this point in your life. If you’re still breathing, it’s not the end and as long as it’s not yet the end, make the remainder of your life worth living. Things will turn out okay not because it’s a guarantee that your situation will improve but because you have the strength to deal with anything life can throw at you and the power to turn things around if you choose to do so. You’ve got one life to live; one life to experience all that life has to offer. You could either let these moments in life break you or use them to become a mentally stronger person. Work on letting go of all the unnecessary stress you’re carrying around in order to have more time and mental energy to enjoy life. When life gets you down and no one is there to help lift you back up, you can either continue waiting for someone to come along to help you, stay down, or decide that you’re strong enough to lift yourself back up. If you feel like your life sucks, it’s a sign that something needs to change. You can either waste it and live an unhappy life or use it to design and enjoy an incredible life.
